(Washington, DC) The Alcoholic Beverage Control Board (Board) announces a fact finding hearing to receive testimony on the effectiveness of the existing sale to minor penalties. The Board requests that individuals wishing to testify address these issues:

The preliminary conference process;

Minimum/maximum suspensions;

Minimum/maximum fines;
-
The benefits of existing penalties to the public;
-
The impact on the business community; and
-
The impact on the general community during suspensions.
The hearing will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at 2:00 pm at 941 North Capitol Street, NE, 7th Floor, ABC Board Hearing Room, Washington, DC 20002.
Individuals who wish to testify should contact Cynthia Simms at (202) 442-4496 or via email by February 9, 2007. Email contacts should include the full name, title, and affiliation – if applicable – of the person(s) testifying. Witnesses should bring eight (8) copies of their written testimony to the Board.
