ABRA Schedules Training Classes For ABC License Holders

The Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration (ABRA) is holding specialized training classes for ABC license holders in the District of Columbia.  The classes will be held on Friday, August 4, 2006 through Sunday, August 6, 2006 at ABRA, located at 941 North Capitol Street, NE, Room 7200.

These classes are specifically designed to help licensees learn techniques to ask for ID from patrons properly and spotting fake IDs, and to inform licensees about ABRA’s compliance check activities.  Licensees will also learn about how ABRA conducts regulatory inspections and how to be in compliance with the laws and regulations of the District.  Information will also be provided on the license protest process, voluntary/cooperative agreements, and how licensees can navigate the adjudicatory processes of the ABC Board.  All of the training and information is designed to help licensees stay in compliance with District laws and regulations.

ABRA will also provide live language interpretation services at selected classes for licensees who speak Spanish or Korean.
