The Alcoholic Beverage Control Board (the Board) announces a public hearing to receive testimony on a written request filed by the Advisory Neighborhood Commission, ANC 1C, to amend the existing Adams Morgan Moratorium Zone regulations, 23 DCMR § 304, as follows: 1) To impose a numerical cap of 10 on the number of Tavern licenses (C/T and D/T) permitted with the Adams Morgan Moratorium Zone at any one time; and 2) To prohibit any additional conversions of Restaurant licenses (C/R and D/R) to Tavern licenses (C/T and D/T) within the Adams Morgan Moratorium Zone. The hearing will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at 10:30 am at 941 North Capitol Street, NE, Board Hearing Room, Washington, DC, 20002.
Persons wishing to comment may review the request prior to the public hearing. The resolution may be copied for a nominal fee or reviewed during office hours between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm.
