Come join the Mayor’s Office on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs and the Office of Planning for the 2nd community meeting of the Chinatown Cultural Development Strategy. This project will provide strategies to help position Chinatown as the region’s top destination for Chinese/ Asian cultural businesses, programs, services, events and festivals. This 2nd meeting will focus on a brainstorming session with property and business owners, community residents, as well as the Chinatown consultant team. We will outline solutions for solving weaknesses and threats facing Chinatown, and develop ideas for building on it’s strengths and opportunities.
