OAPIA and Office of Planning to Hold 4th Chinatown Cultural Development Strategy (CCDS) Community Meeting

The Mayor’s Office on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs and the Office of Planning will hold their 4th Chinatown Cultural Development Strategy (CCDS) Community Meeting on March 18, 2008, 7 pm at the Chinatown Community Cultural Center, 616 H St. NW, Suite 201, Washington, DC 20001.

The CCDS planning team will present draft strategy of the key priorities and action items for Chinatown. These priorities and action items have been identified by Chinatown community task force members over the past two months. The planning team will also share their insights and recommendations on how the community can accomplish these action items that will contribute to improving Chinatown.

CCDS is a project that aims to provide strategies and build support to revitalize DC’s Chinatown and position it as the region’s top destination for Chinese/ Asian cultural businesses, programs, services, events and festivals.
