Dear Community Members,

The DC Mayor’s Office on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs would like to invite you to our Fourth Annual Sidewalk Chalk Contest. Our theme this year is “Animals of the Zodiac”. This is an excellent chance for DC youth to express their creativity and learn a little about Asian culture.

The Chalk Contest will be held on Thursday, July 16th, from 12pm - 3pm in front of the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library. Kids from the ages 8 - 18 can participate, but registration is required. Due to limited capacity, participants must register by July 13th. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Each participant will receive a free gift in addition to the prizes given to the top three drawings!
