OAPIA and DOH Workshops on H1N1 Flu

WHAT: Workshop on H1N1 Developments
The Mayor’s Office on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs, in conjunction with the Department of Health will be holding workshops in the API community about recent developments regarding the H1N1 flu.

The workshops are intended to alert the API community to news regarding the H1N1 flu as well as methods to help prevent contraction. The workshops will have interpreters on hand for Vietnamese and Chinese languages.

Workshop 1:

When:  Tuesday, September 15, 2009, 10:30 am to 11 am
Where: Vietnamese American Community Service Center- 2437 15th Street, NW
            (Vietnamese interpretation will be provided)

Workshop 2:

When:  Monday, September 21, 2009, 11:30 am to 12 noon.
Where: Asian Service Center - 417 G Place, NW
           (Cantonese and Mandarin interpretation will be provided)

Workshop 3:

When: Tuesday, September 29, 2009, 3-4pm
Where: Wah Luck House Community Room - 800 6th St. NW
(Cantonese and Mandarin interpretation will be provided)
