1. Census 2010 Outreach Update
- Distributed materials in Ward 7 to 60 API merchants
- Distributed materials at Mongolian Embassy event and met with Thai embassy and Nepalese Embassy.

- National Television: Premiering on all National TV networks such as Zee TV (Asian Indian), TanTV (Korean) and Japan TV (Japanese)
- Local Radio: Launching in all markets including Seattle (KXPA AM 1540), San Francisco (Binh Minh Radio/ KVVN 1430 AM), New York (DHOOM FM), Kansas City (Radio TNT/KFSG 1690 AM) and Washington DC (Family Radio/WDCT 1310 AM)

- 2010 Census Event Calendar – OAPIA will post an event calendar on OAPIA website in the upcoming month.
- API Census Stakeholder Conference Call – OAPIA will send information about the upcoming conference call next week.
6. 2010 Census Jobs - It's easy to apply! Call your Local Census Office and schedule an appointment to take the employment test. Use this interactive map to find the local phone number of the nearest Local Census Office.

All census takers must be able to speak English, but people who have bilingual skills are needed in communities where a large number of residents primarily speak other languages. If you have the appropriate language skills and cultural knowledge to communicate well in your community, we encourage you to apply.
