(Washington, DC) The Office on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs (OAPIA) is pleased to announce that the period for questions concerning OAPIA’s Community Grant (RFA #CG1000-07) has been extended from August 18, 2006 to August 22, 2006 at 5 pm. Applicants with questions regarding the Request for Application (RFA) can contact Helen A. White at (703) 827-2733, ext.104 or OAPIAGrant@aol.com no later than August 22, 2006 at 5 pm.
If a meeting for questions with Ms. White is preferred, the applicant must contact Ms. White to register for the meeting time by Monday, August 21, 2006 at 5 pm. Space is limited and is on a first-come-first served basis. Meetings will begin promptly and are only for 30-minute blocks from 9 am - 12 pm. No additional time will be allowed beyond the 30-minute allotment. The meetings will take place at 441 4th Street, NW, Conference Room #1113, Washington, DC 20001.
Please remember that only questions regarding the RFA will be entertained. Specific questions concerning your particular application will not be addressed. The questions collected during these meetings or made to Ms. White by phone or email will be posted along with the answers on APIA’s website for the benefit of all the applicants.
Please note that the extension for questions does not change the application deadline. The grant application is still due at 441 4th Street, NW, Suite 1100, Room A, Washington, DC 20001 no later than August 28, 2006 at 12 pm.
