At a duly called public meeting held January 10, 2008 the Board of Real Property Assessments and Appeals presented a formal resolution of appreciation to Benjamin M. Soto, Esq. for outstanding public service in appreciation of his many years as Vice-Chairperson of the Board of Real Property Assessments and Appeals.  Mr. Soto served as an attorney member, and as Vice-Chairperson from 2002 to 2007.  Mr. Soto recently left the Board to accept a nomination, by Mayor Adrian Fenty, to serve as a member of the DC Sports and Entertainment Commission.
