WASHINGTON, DC - The DC Office of Finance and Treasury's Unclaimed Property Unit, which is the custodian for unclaimed property in the city, is preparing an auction to sell unclaimed coins, jewelry, and other goods. A preview of the items up for bid will be held next week.

Special Note: Photo opportunities of the auction items will be available. Deputy Chief Financial Officer for Finance and Treasury N. Anthony Calhoun and Elliott Kindred, director of the Unclaimed Property Unit, will be in attendance.
