The Child Protective Review Panel Meeting will be held on June 6, 2007 from 6 pm – 7:30 pm at the Howard University School of Social Work on the third floor in the Faculty Lounge.

The Child Protective Services (CPS) and Citizens Review Panel (CRP) mandated by the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act, are made up of concerned District citizens who want to ensure that children and families are receiving appropriate services and supports to ensure their safety and general well-being, as well as ensuring that children achieve permanence. The CRP chooses a focused set of issues and develops its meeting agenda to address its priority areas.
