DC Mandated Reporter Online Training Available

New from the DC Child and Family Services Agency:
Online training is available for anyone required by law to report known or suspected incidents of child abuse and neglect in the District. The training is easy, convenient, and provides all the information you need to fulfill your obligations as a mandated reporter.  

You will learn:

  • How to recognize the signs of child abuse and neglect.
  • How to talk to child and youth victims.
  • When to report.
  • How to report.

Developed by Western Illinois University's award-winning Center for the Application of Information Technologies, this training is comprehensive and well worth your time. Simply register, take the pre- and post-training tests, and complete all the learning activities in about two hours. Or start, stop, and log back in later until your course is complete.
