The color red will paint local DC Government offices as Serve DC seeks to engage District Government employees during this season of giving. Serve DC in the Executive Office of the Mayor kicks off the Holiday Season of service by partnering with One Warm Coat.
One Warm Coat is dedicated to distributing new or gently used coats, free of charge, directly to local children and adults and we have made giving easy. Clean, reusable coats and jackets can be dropped off at one of 12 DC Government Office buildings beginning Monday, November 5, 2007- Wednesday, December 5, 2007. All donated coats will be given to From Streets to Skills Social Services Inc. and My Sister’s Place Emergency Services Center for distribution.
