Serve DC–The Mayor's Office on Volunteerism seeks to engage District government employees during this season of giving by kicking off the holiday season of service in partnership with One Warm Coat.
One Warm Coat is dedicated to distributing new or gently used coats, free of charge, directly to local children and adults. We have made giving easy. Clean, reusable coats and jackets can be dropped off in boxes located at 12 DC government office buildings beginning Wednesday, November 5, 2008-Friday, December 12, 2008. All donated coats will be given to the Coalition for the Homeless for distribution.
