Join Serve DC to Commemorate the 9-11 National Day of Service and Remembrance and Support Local Veterans

Serve DC — The Mayor’s Office on Volunteerism encourages area residents, organizations and businesses to donate new and gently used professional clothing and Metro farecards to a 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance clothing drive and outreach fair aimed at supporting local veterans.

Donations can be dropped off at the following times and locations:

Thursday & Friday, September 9 & 10
10 am - 12 pm and 5 -7 pm
Serve DC Office, 14th Street NW, Suite 101 Franklin D. Reeves Municipal Center, U Street/Cardozo Metro, Green line

Saturday, September 11
10 am - 1 pm
Deanwood Recreation Center, 1350 49th Street, NE (at Quarles Street); directly across from the Deanwood Metro (4720 Minnesota Avenue, NE), Orange line
