(Washington, DC) Clifford B. Janey, Superintendent for the District of Columbia Public Schools, and the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, in partnership with the DC Arts and Humanities Education Collaborative, invite you to nominate an outstanding arts teacher for the fourth annual Superintendent's Arts Teacher Award. The deadline is Thursday, February 8, 2007.
 
One award will be given in each of the following categories: Elementary School Level, Middle School Level, and High School Level. Winning teachers will receive a $500 stipend to support special arts projects benefiting their class and school. Awardees will also be honored as part of the 22nd Mayor's Arts Award ceremony March 19, 2007.
