(Washington, DC) The DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities will be open for business July 17, 2007 at its new location in the Columbia Heights neighborhood. The new address will be:

On July 16, 2007, the agency's main phone number will temporarily be switched to (202) 727-0124. Shortly after the move, the main number will revert back to the current listing of (202) 724-5613. All staff email addresses will remain the same. Other phone, fax, and TDD numbers may change. Please note that, while we are in transition, there may also be some interruption in telephone and Internet services.
Grant workshops may be rescheduled. For updates, visit the Arts Commission's website or call (202) 727-0124. Please note that all meetings, workshops, events and grant deadlines previously publicized at the 410 8th Street, NW address will be changed to 2901 14th Street NW, First Floor. Please update your mailing list with our new address and continue to keep us informed of your activities.
The new office space is located on 14th Street NW, between Columbia Road and Harvard Street. The Arts Commission's main entrance is on Harvard Street. It is easily accessible by Metrorail, just two blocks south of the Columbia Heights Metro Station on the Green and Yellow lines. The space is also fully wheelchair accessible and ADA compliant.
The DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities invites you to visit us at our new space and encourages all DC resident artists and arts organizations to take advantage of our many and diverse grant programs, workshops and events.
