Arts Commission Seeks Public's Help in Development of Strategic Plan

The DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities is currently crafting its next strategic plan. AMS Planning & Research, a national arts management consulting firm, will assist the Commission in this endeavor.

The next important step in the process is to open the dialogue to District residents who are concerned about the arts in our community. At this public input session, we’ll discuss themes that have emerged from our research, show you how things are being done in other relevant communities and ask for your thoughts in three key areas: support of artists and arts organization, arts education and arts advocacy.

The session will be held September 29, 2009 from 6:30 pm to 8 pm.

Location: Pepco Community Room, basement level
1371 Harvard Street, NW Washington, DC 20009
