The DC Creates! Public Art Program Wednesday, September 30, 2009 from 6 to 8 pm conducted a community meeting to give residents the opportunity to share information and thoughts with the five semi-finalists’ that would be helpful as they create their proposals for the Takoma Underpass.

The meeting was held at the Takoma Education Center Auditorium, at 7010 Piney Branch Road, NW. If you missed the meeting and want to comment, please view the presentation* and email comments to Deirdre Ehlen.

The next community open house will be at the Takoma DC Library on Thursday, November 19, 2009 from 6 to 8 pm to view the semi-finalists' proposals for the site. The proposals will also be on display at the library Friday, November 20 from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. The Takoma DC Library is located at 416 Cedar Street, at 5th Street, NW.
