Road Closures and Restrictions To Be in Place for Papal Visit, April 15 – 18, 2008

Roads in the vicinity of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception on Michigan Avenue, NE, Nationals Park on South Capitol Street, SE, the White House and the Papal Nunciature on Massachusetts Avenue, NW, will be closed or subject to restrictions at specified times during the visit of Pope Benedict XVI, April 15 – 18, 2008. 
 
Residents are urged to avoid these areas or take Metro if they are planning to attend any of the events related to the papal visit.
