Threat Level Raised to Code Orange for Aviation

(Washington, DC) The US Department of Homeland Security raised the threat level to Code Orange (high risk) for all commercial aviation operating in or destined for the United States, due to the arrest made in the United Kingdom. The threat level is Code Red (severe risk) for all flights originating in the United Kingdom bound for the United States. Aviation officials are asking passengers to arrive early. In addition, all liquids including beverages, hair gels and lotion are banned from flights.
