The District of Columbia's Geographic Information Systems program is pleased to share its final draft of the DC GIS Strategic Plan. The plan's main objective is to provide emphasis on the long-term direction of the DC GIS Program, for both activities and governance. The effort began in late 2007, sponsored by the Federal Geographic Data Committee and their Fifty States Initiative, involving various workshops attended by a diverse cross-section of internal and external stakeholders. Now that the final draft is out, please take a moment to read it. DC GIS is interested in any comments you may have, email us.
