The District of Columbia Public Schools' E-Boundary Information System (EBIS) finds the schools assigned to a particular address based on the approved DCPS attendance boundaries now in the DC GIS central database.  The application allows parents and new residents to determine which DC public schools their children can attend based on their residence.

EBIS utilizes the Master Address Repository and point-in-polygon web services to locate and assign schools.
