(Washington, DC) District officials and community members will cut the ribbon on a state-of-the-art wellness center for senior residents in Ward Four. Tours of the facility, fitness demonstrations and health screenings will be held throughout the day. The senior wellness center will provide services that promote healthy habits, enhance social, mental, spiritual and physical wellbeing and help to prevent unnecessary and costly medical problems associated with the aging process. Providence Hospital will manage the facility.
