District Opens Resource Center for Disabled and Elderly

(Washington, DC) The DC Office on Aging is joined by collaborating agencies and private organizations to provide one central location to access services for persons with disabilities and the elderly.  The ADRC will assist the District’s elderly, persons with disabilities, their caregivers, and their families in maximizing independence and improving quality of life by linking people with a range of quality services. The ADRC will also serve as a resource for information and assistance to seniors and persons with disabilities, helping them explore options and benefits available to them.
