(Washington, DC) Elegance, talent and community service can be a plus for older women in the District of Columbia interested in representing her peers.
The Ms. Senior DC Pageant 2008 is accepting applications for the upcoming Ms. Senior DC Pageant scheduled for June 29. District women aged 60 and older may apply for a chance to compete in the annual contest. The application deadline is April 28.
Contestants will be judged by a panel of impartial judges on a personal interview, their philosophy of life, talent and evening gown presentations. The winner of the pageant will serve as an ambassador for her peers and will represent the District in the Ms. Senior America Pageant which will be held in Atlantic City, NJ in October.
The Ms. Senior DC Pageant is presented by the DC Senior America Cameo Club, the DC Office on Aging and Family and Child Services of Washington, DC, Inc.
