The plan will detail how funding is allocated for senior programs and services for 2007–2009. The mission of the District of Columbia Office on Aging is to advocate, plan, implement and monitor programs in health, education, employment and social services that promote longevity, independence, dignity and choice for the District's elderly population, 60 years of age and older.
