(Washington, DC) The Office on Aging is currently developing goals and objectives for the DC State Plan on Aging. The plan will detail how funding is allocated for senior programs and services for 2007–2009. A full copy of the draft plan can be requested from Courtney Williams at Courtney.williams@dc.gov or (202) 727-8370. Comments are due by July 25.

The mission of the District of Columbia Office on Aging is to advocate, plan, implement and monitor programs in health, education, employment and social services that promote longevity, independence, dignity and choice for the District's elderly population, 60 years of age and older.
