(Washington, DC) The DC Office of Personnel unveiled a new service on Thursday to link employees with specific questions regarding benefit elections and the enrollment process during the 2007 Open Enrollment period to a DCOP benefit support specialist quickly.
The DCOP Benefits Support Center, which can be reached by calling (202) 442-9655, provides quick, accurate, and easily accessible information on everything from how to update home addresses to technical difficulties while enrolling online to how to call an insurance provider directly. Callers can also immediately choose to speak directly to a specialist for specific information.
Information can be accessed from the office, from a cell phone or from the comfort of an employee's home as employees make benefit elections. A live benefit support specialist can be reached from 7 am until 6 pm Monday through Friday.
With Employee Self Service, DCOP's website, and the new phone service, employees have more ways to get the information they need faster than ever before.
To reach the Benefits Support Center, please call (202) 442-9655.
