District employees will now have three additional days to elect their benefits after the DC Office of Personnel’s Benefits Office announced it would extend the 2007 Open Enrollment period to 5:30 pm on Thursday, December 14, 2006.
Employees who have not received or lost their enrollment materials and wish to make changes to their benefit elections are encouraged to visit the DCOP website to review the enrollment materials.
To ensure your benefits elections are made on time, employees are encouraged to meet with their HR Advisor to sign up for Employee Self Service (ESS). Advisors are able to immediately create a username and password and can guide employees through the process.
DCPS employees are encouraged to use the DCPS Employee Self Service link to elect their benefits.
Employees who do not have access to the Internet and wish to make their elections in person can obtain benefit enrollment materials and information from their HR Advisor or by visiting the DCOP Benefits Office at 441 4th Street, NW, Suite 340N.
District employees who have specific questions regarding their benefit status, benefits options and or rates, are encouraged to call the Benefit Support Call Center at (202) 442-9655.
If you are currently enrolled in the CIGNA PPO Plan, please be advised that rates for 2007 have recently changed. If you have questions regarding the rate changes or wish to change providers please follow the instructions above.
