With more vendors, more space and more jobs available to eager job seekers, the DC Department of Human Resources (DCHR), in partnership with the DC Department of Employment Services (DOES), is proud to announce Mayor Adrian M. Fenty's 2007 Citywide Job Fair* will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at the Washington Convention Center from 10 am to 4 pm.

DCHR Director Brender L. Gregory says the Washington Convention Center is the ideal location and with the addition of private companies to the event for the first time this year, participants are sure to find a job that best matches their talents and experience.

“We really want to make the Citywide Job Fair the premier recruiting event in the District and the region,” said Gregory, who has served as DCHR Director since January. “We want everyone looking for a job to have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with the District agencies and the companies that best suits them."

The job search can begin now at Mayor Adrian M. Fenty's 2007 Citywide Job Fair Information Center where links to many of the expected 150 exhibitors' career websites are available. Companies and agencies interested in participating in the event can also register at the center.
