District government employees are reminded that annual leave in excess of the maximum carryover of 240 hours must be used prior to January 5, 2008 or it will be lost.
District government employees with “use or lose” annual leave must schedule the use of such leave not later than November 24, 2007, by submitting a DC Standard Form 71, Application for Leave.
Employees who cannot or do not wish to use their excess annual leave may donate this leave to the Annual Leave Bank Program (Program), by completing the Application to Donate Annual Leave to the Leave Bank form.
Both forms are available from your agency's HR Advisor and/or Payroll Coordinator.
