The 2008 Open Enrollment period will end today, Wednesday, December 12, 2007, at 7 pm. Today is the final opportunity for District employees to make benefit elections, modify coverage categories, and ensure their benefits package meets their unique requirements for next year.
DC Employees can visit the Open Enrollment Center at One Judiciary Square, 441 4th Street NW, from 8 am to 7 pm in the Old Council Chambers to get help in making their elections.
DC Employees are also encouraged to use Employees Self Service (ESS) at dchr.dc.gov to make their elections. ESS is only available on District computers and cannot be accessed from home or any computer outside of the District network. The ESS system will be shut down at 8 pm today.
Paper forms will be accepted at the Open Enrollment Center only.
The DC Department of Human Resources (DCHR) is asking all District employees to review their benefit elections and personal information to ensure employee and dependent data is accurate, even if no changes are being made. This positive enrollment is critical as DCHR works to ensure the best quality customer service as well as the best benefit options available to employees and their families.
By selecting carefully, employees could potentially save hundreds of dollars on healthcare and other expenses. If you have any questions, please contact the DC Department of Human Resources’ HR Answers customer service center at (202) 442-9700 or visit dchr.dc.gov for plan information and forms.
