DCHR Opens New HR Answers Customer Care Center

The DC Department of Human Resources (DCHR) proudly announces the opening of the new HR Answers Customer Care Center located in the lobby of One Judiciary Square.

The HR Answers Customer Care Center is an HR concierge that will process applications, and provide resources and information to anyone seeking employment with the District of Columbia, as well as current District government employees. This customer focused center features a full-time staff of Customer Service Communications Specialists and computer workstations for online application processing, Employee Self Service (ESS) and benefits review, and much more.

The HR Answers Customer Care Center replaces the DCHR 4th Floor Reeves Center Office which closed as of Monday, June 23, 2008.

In keeping with the agency’s “HIRE GREEN” initiative to develop and promote environmentally friendly operations, the HR Answers Customer Care Center will not provide paper applications, vacancy announcements, or printing/reproduction of any document. The center will continue to accept paper applications; however, DCHR encourages all applicants to submit employment applications online.  

The HR Answers Customer Care Center is located at 441 4th St. NW, Washington, DC, 20001. It is conveniently located on Metro’s Red Line at the Judiciary Square Metro Station (4th Street exit).
