The DC Department of Human Resources (DCHR) announces new DPM Bulletin 12-239.

The purpose of the Bulletin is to define the District government’s policy concerning "Excused Absence for Parents to Accompany their Children to School for the Beginning of the School Year 2008-2009."

The new rules are contained in DPM Chapter 12, Bulletin 12-239 of the District Personnel Manual.
