The DC Department of Human Resources (DCHR) reemphasizes the District government’s policy on excused absences for the purpose of general election voting.

The rules guiding this subject are contained in Chapter 12, Issuance 241* of the District Personnel Manual (DPM) entitled Policy on Excused Absences for the Purpose of Voting in the General Election on Tuesday, November 4, 2008.
