The DC Department of Human Resources (DCHR) announces an updated DPM issuance governing Overtime Policy for FLSA–Exempt Positions.
The purpose of the instruction is to reiterate the District government’s policy concerning the payment of overtime to employees whose positions are designated as “exempt” under the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 (FLSA), as amended.
The new rules are contained in DPM Chapter 11B, Issuance 66* of the District Personnel Manual.
