The DC Department of Human Resources (DCHR) announces that the Centralized College Internship Program (CCIP) will begin accepting applications for the 2009 Internship starting Monday, January 5, 2009.

CCIP is a six-week program that offers summer positions (30-40 hours each week) to undergraduate and graduate students. The program is a Mayoral initiative designed to bring the best and brightest to the District’s workforce by attracting, recruiting and retaining undergraduate and graduate students. The program promotes leadership in candidates who want hands-on public policy municipal government experience. Summer interns will also participate in professional development and roundtable seminars with senior government officials.
