The DC Department of Human Resources (DCHR) announces that the Certified Public Manager (CPM) Program is now accepting applications for Cohort 22. Applications will be accepted through May 1, 2009
The CPM Program is a premier District government training program designed to enhance the skills of District government managers and provide them with knowledge and tools to be more effective leaders. The program is a subset of the District government’s Emerging Leaders Program (ELP); an umbrella initiative which is designed to attract, recruit, and retain talented graduate, undergraduate, and even high school students for careers in public service with the District government.
The nationally accredited CPM program is administered by the DC Department of Human Resources (DCHR) and draws academic rigor from a strategic partnership with the George Washington University, as well as renowned government, nonprofit and private sector practitioners who bring the best leadership and management theory and real-world experience to the program.
Applications for the October 2009 cohort of the CPM Program are now being accepted through May 1, 2009.
Interested applicants are encouraged to visit the Certified Public Manager Program information page on the DCHR website for more information on CPM.
