(Washington, DC) As part of its 90-day implementation period for the District's new vending program, the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) is hosting two vending orientation sessions on November 7 and 9. These two sessions will educate current and new vendors about new rules and regulations and the updated application process for the vending program. (Read this advisory in Vietnamese* and Mandarin Chinese*.)
The orientations will provide information to the public on the vending program that begins on January 15, 2007.
Other government agencies are partnering with DCRA to provide education and information to anyone interested in becoming a vendor in the District of Columbia. DCRA will provide Vietnamese interpretation for the orientation on November 7 and Mandarin interpretation for the orientation on November 9.
