(Washington, DC) The Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs' Permit Center will be closed on Friday, March 30 for staff training on new procedures for the agency's temporary Permit Center.
DCRA's Permit Center will also be closed during its regularly scheduled extended hours on Saturday, March 31 between 9 am and 1 pm.
The Permit Center will resume regular hours on Monday, April 2, 2007 at 8:15 am.
This closing is part of "DCRA–Making All the Right Moves," which will bring District residents and businesses a new Permit Center. The redesigned Permit Center will nearly double in size and allow customers to have face-to-face meetings with engineers for Express Jobs.
As part of the renovation, DCRA's Plans File Room, Records Room and Office of the Surveyor will also undergo a significant redesign.
Look for signs near the Permit Center to keep updated on our renovation.
