Learn What To Do If You’ve Received a Second Bill for Your Apartment Business License Renewal

If you’re an apartment basic business license-holder, you may have recently received a duplicate bill for your license renewal.

We apologize for this mistake and the inconvenience to you.

If you’ve already made your payment, please disregard the second bill. You’ll be receiving your Basic Business License shortly.

If you sent a duplicate payment, we’ll send you a refund, through the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO). You can expect to get it within 90 days.

To make sure that everyone has time to get their license renewed, we’ve extended the renewal compliance date from October 30 to December 31, 2007.

If you have questions about your license renewal, please contact the License Division, at (202) 442-4311, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm; or Thursday, 9:30 am - 4:30 pm.
