Fixing or Repairing a Fence? You may Need a Permit from DCRA

(Washington, DC) - In anticipation of the home improvement projects many District residents will begin this Spring, the DC Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) provides details on what permits you may need to fix, replace or install a new fence in the April edition of the DCRA Dispatch.

The DCRA Dispatch is a monthly publication highlighting current issues, new regulations or changes within our agency to improve your customer experience. You can download the April 2008 DCRA Dispatch and link to other important information below.

The Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs protects the health, safety, economic interests, and quality of life of residents, businesses, and visitors in the District of Columbia by issuing licenses and permits, conducting inspections, enforcing building, housing, and safety codes, regulating land use and development, and providing consumer education and advocacy services.
