Inaugural Vending Zone Load-In/Load Out Information
Vendors within the Inaugural Vending Zone – G Street, F Street, K Street, or L’Enfant Plaza zones -  will be able to load into their site beginning no sooner than 2 am on January 20, 2009. You may not proceed to your site without being checked-in by DCRA staff who will present at the load-in checkpoint. Anyone who does not follow these rules will forfeit their license and not be allowed to vend.

Vendors will set up and must load out all tow and service vehicles by 4 am. Any vending vehicles attempting to load in later than 4 am will not be granted access to their site and will forfeit their site permit. Once sited and loaded in, vendors are required to move all motorized tow and storage vehicles out of the Inauguration Zone within the 2 hour load in period.

Load out time is approximate. No tow or service vehicles will be allowed back into the Inauguration Zone until the Metropolitan Police Department has cleared the streets of pedestrians and lifted the roadblocks to all vehicular traffic.

NOTE: All maps were updated on January 16, 2009 to include load-in details and other important information. We encourage all vendors to print a copy to assist them in navigating to the Load-In Checkpoints.

NOTE: Load-In times for Inaugural Zones Moved to Midnight.

RFK Stadium Overflow Load-In Details
Due to the thousands of incoming charter busses to the RFK Stadium site, DCRA is adjusting the load-in time for this overflow site. Vendors licensed for RFK Stadium must load-in between 9 am and 5 pm on Monday, January 19, 2009. Again, the load-in time for RFK Stadium is between 9 am and 5 pm on Monday. DCRA staff will provide direction to vendor as they arrive.

This adjustment was necessary because the charter buses will begin arriving and for safety reasons, vendors must be in place before their arrival. Vendors licensed and set-up on Monday, January 19, 2009 will be able to vend immediately after setting up.
