DCRA's Office of Consumer Protection Holds Ward 5 Neighborhood Workshop at Lamond-Riggs Library

(Washington, DC) The Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs’ (DCRA) Office of Consumer Protection will hold a Ward 5 neighborhood workshop at the Lamond-Riggs Library in Northeast Washington, DC on Tuesday, August 15. This workshop is part of a series of eight consumer education events scheduled throughout the summer.

The neighborhood workshops will introduce the variety of consumer protection resources available to District residents through the recently revitalized DCRA Office of Consumer Protection and other city agencies. Members of the Office of Consumer Protection will explain their role educating and protecting city consumers and address resident questions and concerns about consumer protection.

The neighborhood workshop series runs until September 5, 2006. A full schedule is available online.
