The Commission will conduct public hearings on two (2) proposed rulemakings: 

(1)  Wheelchair accessible taxicab services and pilot project, and 

(2)  Procedures for filing and processing complaints regarding taxicab owners or operators.

The hearings will take place immediately following the Commission’s regular meeting that will be held at the following time, date and location:

Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at 10 am

Washington, DC 20020

The hearings will provide an opportunity for interested persons to appear and present their views regarding the Commission’s proposed rulemaking actions. All persons desiring to comment at the hearings should notify the Commission by telephoning 645-6018 or sending an email to the Commission’s email at dctc3@dc.gov.

The proposed wheelchair accessible taxicab rulemaking is currently available at the Commission’s website at dctaxi.dc.gov. The proposed procedures for filing and processing complaints rulemaking will be available at the website in advance of the public hearing.
