Shared Riding means a groups of two (2) or more passengers arranged by a starter (dispatcher) sharing the same taxicab ride.
Shared Riding was put into effect at Union Station to help relieve the public safety hazard created by the mass exodus of patrons seeking taxi service after exiting trains and/or buses.
The first person entering the cab has the right to refuse shared riding.
The general direction of the first passenger shall determine the direction of that particular trip.
Other passengers whose destinations lie generally in that direction may be transported to the extent of the capacity of the taxicab.
Passengers shall be discharged in the order of arrival at their respective destinations.
In the event any questions arise as to the order of arrival at any destination, the question shall be resolved in favor of the passenger who entered the taxicab first.
Drivers will reset the meter for the next destination after the exit of each passenger at his/her destination.

Complaints shall be filed within thirty (30) days of the event giving rise to the complaint. Your complaint MUST be in writing, signed and contain your name, address and telephone number. Please provide a detailed description of the incident to include the driver’s name, FACE ID number, Taxicab Name, Taxicab Number, or Tag Number.
