The DC Taxicab Commission Public Hearing scheduled for Wednesday, August 22, 2012 will start at 11 am instead of the previously announced 10 am to allow the commissioners to attend Mayor Gray’s press conference at VeriFone. The Mayor will introduce and demonstrate Taxi Smart Meter System (TSMS) on the initial taxi to have the device installed. The Commission’s Public Hearing will be held at 441 4th Street, NW, in the Old Council Chambers.
