Joint Utility Discount Day (JUDD)

If you receive an application for the Utility Discount Programs in the mail, you do NOT need to attend JUDD. Simply mail your completed application, with all necessary documentation, to DDOE at 1207 Taylor Street, NW, Washington, DC 20011.
1) You will NOT be able to apply for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) benet payments or emergency energy payments at JUDD.
2) Only Utility Discount Program applications will be taken. If you qualify, you will receive Discounted Rates on your Gas, Electric, Telephone and Water bills.
3) You must call 311 to schedule an appointment to apply for LIHEAP benefits. Video Relay Services (VRS) users must call 202-727-1000.
DC seniors and residents with disabilities may call 311 to request reasonable special accommodations to attend OR
to request Home Bound Assistance.
