DDOT Set to Break Ground on Year-Long Foxhall Road Project

(Washington, DC) Emeka Moneme, Director of the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will join Mayor Adrian M. Fenty and Ward 3 Councilmember Mary Cheh on Monday to jointly begin work on DDOT’s Foxhall Road project—scheduled to begin Monday June 25.

DDOT will outline a timeline for the project and include details on the scope of work. The project consists of $4 million in streetscape upgrades and road construction on Foxhall Road between Nebraska Avenue and Canal Road, NW. Construction is expected to be completed in one year. Residents in the area are invited to attend the groundbreaking event.
